It was 1934. Prohibition had just ended, the country was dusting itself off, and on a quiet corner of 15th Street in Uptown Moline, the doors of Casey's Tavern opened for the very first time.
We didn't start with a fancy concept or a curated menu. We started with cold beer, a sturdy bar, and a simple promise: this is a place for the neighborhood.
Built for the Working City
John Deere founded his plow company just a 10-minute walk from our front door back in 1848. For nearly a century, Casey's has been the spot where Deere shifts end. We've poured rounds for Rock Island Arsenal employees, Moline school teachers, Black Hawk College students, and folks who just needed a place to sit after a long day.
We've seen three generations of Moline families slide into these booths. The faces change, but the stories stay the same.
The Next Chapter: "We're Back"
In October 2024, Casey's entered a new era. Relaunched under Jeremy Webb and Webb Services LLC, we brought the old girl back to life. We didn't change what made Casey's great—we just polished the brass and turned the lights back on.
We kept the late-night hours because Moline doesn't sleep at 10 PM. We kept the sand volleyball courts out back because summers in the Quad Cities demand it. We kept the kitchen open late, the beer ice cold, and the whiskey pouring.
More Than Just a Bar
Whether you're here for a $4 Whiskey Wednesday, a fierce league night on the sand, or just a quiet Tuesday pint, you're part of the history of this corner. We aren't trying to be an "elevated dining experience." We're exactly what we've always been: Moline's neighborhood tavern.
